WHAT TO EXPECT

Welcome to the  Neuro Clinic

At The Neuro Clinic, we strive to identify the root cause of your issue rather than treating symptoms alone. Many of our patients have seen 3 or more providers before they are referred to our clinic by a friend or co-worker.

Often the root cause of your problem starts at your body's control center: the brain. This is where the neuro component of our name comes into play. We use sophisticated diagnostic testing to identify parts of your brain or nervous system that are not functioning properly.  We then leverage a range of therapies to return you to health.

Seeing that our clinic is unlike any other you've ever experienced, you are naturally wondering what to expect. We hope that the information and videos below will familiarize you with the process in advance.

Your First Visit

Your first visit begins with a comprehensive neurologic exam that lasts up to two hours. The cost of this first visit with our time-of-service discount is $290 which includes the doctors evaluation and 30 minutes of diagnostic testing. During this visit, you will be provided with a complete neurologic assessment. Then you will discuss the best treatment options with the doctor to develop a treatment plan. Most treatment plans last three to four months.

First Visit

Subsequent Visits During Your Treatment Plan

The first month of your treatment plan is typically the most intense, requiring more frequent visits. The following months start to taper in intensity and frequency. Visits are billed according to the rate established with your treatment plan.

During your visits, you will work through a therapy program and meet with a doctor to evaluate progress (though you may not meet with a doctor every visit). A minimum of 3-4 months of brain therapy and/or exercises are required to ensure lasting change, although some conditions may require a longer treatment period.

View our therapies page to learn more about some of the therapies you may be assigned.

Post-Treatment

As nice as you may be, we don't want you to be a patient forever. We want you to get better and live an extraordinary life. That means not having to take time out of your week to visit our office.

That being said, many of our patients find it helpful to schedule an occasional follow up visit to make sure they are still on the the right track. It also helps them hold to their at home exercise commitments because they know they will be held accountable.  Follow up visits are entirely up to you but knowing human nature, we suggest that you schedule one a year at a minimum.
